Activity Book Contest - Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General

Calling all Pennsylvania students in kindergarten through 12th grade!

We’re looking for someone to design the cover of our new Be Money $mart activity book!

Add your original design to the official template and submit your entry to us using our online form below by ~~October 31, 2025~~ November 14, 2025 (the deadline has been extended!).

The winning drawing will be featured on the front cover of our activity book which will be unveiled at the 2026 PA Farm Show! The activity book will be distributed to thousands of Pennsylvanians at the Farm Show, libraries, YMCAs, and other organizations across the state. In addition, Auditor General DeFoor will visit and recognize the winner in person in their local community!

We’re excited to collaborate with the following community partners on this initiative: PA Chamber of Business and Industry, PA Forward, State YMCA of PA, and CrossState Credit Union Association.

Submission Requirements

Image must fit on a 5.5″ x 8.5″ piece of paper
Image must be drawn on our official template – download the template
Image must be drawn by a Pennsylvania student in kindergarten through 12th grade

By entering this contest, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

This contest is only open to Pennsylvania residents enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade.

One entry may be submitted per person.

An entry must be the original work of the contestant, may not have been previously published, may not have won previous awards, must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person and must not violate any law.

Entries must be received by the date/time outlined on this webpage.

All contestants grant the Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General the right to use their name, photo, and likeness for marketing and publicity in connection with this contest.

The Department is not responsible for technical issues or fraudulent entries, and reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the contest rules.

The winner will be notified via email on or around December 1, 2025.
