Auditor General DePasquale Denounces Trump Gag Rule on Women’s Access to Healthcare Services

HARRISBURG (May 21, 2018) – Auditor General Eugene DePasquale today issued the following statement regarding the Trump Administration’s plan to implement policy changes that will prohibit medical professionals from providing patients with any information about legal abortions:

“No politician should dictate the private information doctors provide to their patients. Women deserve the opportunity to seek all available advice so that they have the information to choose the healthcare services they need.”
