About This Audit

The independent auditor’s report examines the Liquid Fuels Tax Fund of Clymer Township, Tioga County, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023. Conducted as per standards by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the examination sought assurance that the Forms MS-965, inclusive of adjustments by the Department of Auditor General, conform materially with criteria set out in the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Publication 9. The auditors found no significant deficiencies or material weaknesses in internal control over the reporting forms. Furthermore, tests indicated no noncompliance with laws or regulations affecting the Forms MS-965. This report, prepared for the purpose of assessing compliance with laws regulating the Liquid Fuels Tax Fund, confirms funds have been appropriately managed, as required by the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code and Liquid Fuels Tax Municipal Allocation Law. The report is specifically provided only for this stated purpose.
