About This Audit
A compliance audit was conducted for District Court 27-3-05 in Washington County, Pennsylvania, covering January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2023, to assess adherence to state laws and Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC) policies related to collecting moneys on behalf of the Commonwealth. The audit, not adherent to U.S. Government Auditing Standards, faced limitations due to restricted case access under the Pennsylvania Clean Slate Law, which hindered conclusions on compliance. Despite this, procedures were performed to evaluate the court’s receipts and disbursements. It was found that arrest warrant and DL-38 procedures were inadequate. The audit summary, based on data from the AOPC and Department of Revenue, revealed total receipts and disbursements of $2,098,034 with no balance due. This is an automated summary.
