About This Audit

The audit evaluated the Township of Plumstead’s Liquid Fuels Tax Fund for January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024. The audit examined the Forms MS-965 With Adjustments, assessing their compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s guidelines and Government Auditing Standards. The audit found the forms were properly presented in all material respects. No significant deficiencies or noncompliance issues were identified, but a late receipt of allocation was noted. The Liquid Fuels Tax funds are allocated annually based on local road mileage and population for maintenance purposes. PennDOT oversees the regulatory administration, requiring municipalities to submit annual reports and comply with expenditure guidelines to qualify for fund allocations. This report aids the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in fulfilling regulatory obligations and was designed solely for this purpose. This is an automated summary.
