The Mifflin County Children and Youth Agency has submitted amended fiscal reports for the fiscal years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 to the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS). The engagement aimed to verify actual commonwealth expenditures for services to children residing in Mifflin County. For 2021-2022, one adjustment decreased expenditures by $20,507, resulting in $12,304 owed to the state. For 2022-2023, four adjustments increased expenditures by $8,103, decreased non-reimbursable expenditures by $17,838, and increased revenue by $1,109, leading to $22,142 owed to the county. These reports ensure funds were properly used per Act 148 regulations.
