Examples of Duties
- Legal Research: Research laws, regulations, guidelines, and auditing standards and apply them to audit work
- Record Analysis: Locate, evaluate, and analyze records and other information
- Data Management: Create, input, access, and retrieve data related to audit papers, audit findings, as well as audit and administrative reports
- Program Decisions: Make non-policy decisions that stay within the structure of the established audit program
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field AND one year experience as an Auditor 3, Liquor Store Examiner 3, or a Management Trainee; or
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field AND four years of accounting/auditing experience, including one year of supervisory accounting or auditing experience; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be a Pennsylvania resident at the time of hire.
- You must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license by the time of hire.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- One or more of the following certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Certified Government Audit Professional (CGAP)
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
