HARRISBURG (Dec. 20, 2018) – Auditor General Eugene DePasquale today further commented on the Scranton School District Board’s meeting Wednesday night:
“I have been a proud supporter of greater investments in public education. This has been my track record in public life and will continue to be, no matter what.
“It is the behavior such as we are seeing in the Scranton School District that makes it easier for opponents of public education to cut funding. Students and taxpayers in Scranton deserve better.
“I will continue to focus on making sure that every available dollar of education funding gets into classrooms to help students learn.
