Activity Book Cover Contest

We’re looking for someone to design the cover of our 2026 Be Money $mart activity book! Use our template, or design something from scratch, and submit your entry to us by October 30, 2026. Winners will be announced in November.

This year, we will be selecting 3 winning covers: one from grades K-5; one from grades 6-8; and one from grades 9-12.

The winning drawings will be featured on the front cover of our activity book, which will be distributed to young Pennsylvanians across the state.

Submission requirements:

  • Submit your artwork using our template, or via a digitally designed high-resolution file sized to fit an 8″ x 8″ space.
  • All artwork must be designed specifically for this competition.
  • Images must be drawn by a Pennsylvania student in grades K-12.

  • This contest is only open to Pennsylvania residents enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • An entry must be the original work of the contestant, may not have been previously published, may not have won previous awards, must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person and must not violate any law.
  • All entries must be received by the date/time outlined on this webpage.
  • All contestants grant the Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General the right to use their name, photo, and likeness for marketing and publicity in connection with this contest.
  • The Department is not responsible for technical issues or fraudulent entries and reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the contest rules.
  • Winners will be notified via email in November 2026.
