Be Money $mart Community Partners
Are You Money Smart?
We ask that important question as part of our Be Money $mart initiative. For the last five years, we have crisscrossed the Commonwealth, emphasizing the need for financial literacy education and recognizing those who have implemented or offer programs within their schools, organizations, and communities.
We don’t do this work alone! Our community partners have joined us on this journey to share helpful information and free resources to learners of all ages in support of their journey to financial security.
Together, we’re building resources for financially secure Pennsylvanians, now and in the future.
We’re spotlighting Carey Barzeski, pictured far left, as our featured community partner. She has been teaching financial literacy for four years in the McDowell Township School District. She says, “Financial education plus action is power. Consistent habits turn knowledge into freedom.”
