HARRISBURG – Auditor General Timothy L. DeFoor today announced the release of compliance audits for district courts and county government offices in Allegheny, Armstrong, Bradford, Bucks, Cambria, Delaware, Forest, Jefferson, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton, Washington, Westmoreland and York counties.
“These compliance audits determine whether all funds that are collected on behalf of the state have been correctly reported and promptly remitted to the appropriate state agency,” Auditor General DeFoor said.
Where applicable, the audit reports note any necessary adjustments and include recommendations for stronger internal controls.
